Lake Country Youth Soccer Association is proud to present the 11th annual
Okanagan Ice Breaker Tournament in Lake Country and Kelowna, on the Easter weekend, April 18-20, 2014.
Games start at 8 AM on Friday, and the last games will finish by 6 PM Sunday.

This year's Tournament will offer U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 and U16 age groups for both boys and girls at team league levels above house. This experience provides a great way to kick off the outdoor season for many teams from Western Canada and the USA. All teams are guaranteed at least 3 games over the weekend. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each age group.

Lake Country is nestled in the Okanagan Valley between Kelowna and Vernon, it is a quiet community of 11,000 people. We are surrounded by Okanagan Lake, Kalamalka Lake, Wood Lake and Duck Lake; as well as many smaller hidden lakes in the eastern hills. We have golfing, hiking and walking trails, wineries and the best Soccer Facility in the Valley; Beasley Park with:
 

  • 2 Full-Size Soccer Fields

  • 4 smaller Soccer Fields

  • Beasley Community Centre

  • Public Beach

  • Playground

As well as using the Grass fields at Beasley we will also be using the Artificial Turf Field at UBC Okanagan’s campus and the Artificial Turf Field in Kelowna’s Okanagan Mission area. Spring weather in Lake Country/Kelowna can be anything from plus 15 degrees C to freezing. In case of inclement weather, the Event Director reserves the right to reduce the number of scheduled games and/or the time of games and/or postpone or delay game times and/or cancel the event. Every effort will be made to complete games and the tournament.
