is
proud to present the annual
Okanagan Icebreaker Tournament
at Beasley Park in Lake Country
and on the Artificial Turf
Fields in Kelowna and at UBC
Okanagan on Easter long weekend
March 29 - 31st, 2013. Games
start at 8 AM on Friday and the
last games will finish at 6 PM
Sunday.
This year's tournament will
offer U12, U13, U14, U15 and U16
age groups for both boys and
girls at all team levels. The
Okanagan Icebreaker is in its
10th year and provides a great
way to kick off the outdoor
season for teams from British
Columbia, Alberta and the USA.
All teams are guaranteed at
least 3 games over the weekend
and teams that reach the finals
will play 4 games. Medals and
trophies will be awarded to the
top 3 teams in each age group.

Lake Country is nestled in the
Okanagan Valley between Kelowna and Vernon, it is a
quiet community of 11,000 people. We are surrounded by
Okanagan Lake, Kalamalka Lake, Wood Lake and Duck Lake;
as well as many smaller hidden lakes in the eastern
hills. We have golfing, hiking and walking trails,
wineries and the best Soccer Facility in the Valley;

As well as using the Grass
fields at Beasley we will also be using the Artificial
Turf Field at UBC Okanagan’s campus and the Artificial
Turf Field in Kelowna’s Okanagan Mission area. Spring
weather in Lake Country/Kelowna can be anything from
plus 15 degrees C to freezing.
In case of inclement
weather, the Event Director reserves the right to reduce
the number of scheduled games and/or the time of games
and/or postpone or delay game times and/or cancel the
event. Every effort will be made to complete games and
the tournament.
